Our Programs
We provide support to communities living on Lake Victoria, Uganda.
Fishing Projects
Many families in the Lake Victoria region depend on fishing for their livelihood. Traditional wooden fishing boats are crafted locally, but remain unaffordable for many. We assist with supplying boats, nets, and other equipment, enabling a sustainable living for many families. Additionally, our boat building program supports local carpenters.
Solar Pannels
Grid electricity is frequently unreliable in Uganda. Random outages that can last for hours. By harnessing the power of the sun, households can generate their own electricity, reducing reliance on the grid and ensuring continuous access to power even during outages. To support those unable to afford power, we donate solar panels, promoting both self-sufficiency and sustainability.
Water Tanks
Water is vital for life, and despite plentiful rainfall in Uganda, many cannot afford water tanks, necessitating long trips to communal wells or lakes to fetch water home; these tanks not only alleviate this burden but also facilitate home gardens.
Wellness
Physical, mental, and spiritual health are the foundation of wellness. We aim to empower individuals and communities to thrive, fostering mutual support and individual wellbeing.
Education
Education is key to empowerment. We assist children with school materials, ranging from uniforms to classroom equipment; text books, pencils, calculators etc. We also seek school fee sponsorship for individual students.

Community Life
On the banks of Lake Victoria
Life on the shores of Lake Victoria in Uganda is a daily struggle for families facing financial hardships. Relying on fishing as a primary income source, these communities grapple with economic instability and environmental challenges. Limited access to essentials like food, clean water, healthcare, and education adds to their difficulties. While we can't help everyone, your support can empower select families to advance themselves and climb out of poverty. By doing so, we contribute to the overall well-being of the community, creating a ripple effect of positive change.
