Supporting Children's Education

January in Uganda is a bustling time, especially after the festive season when families work hard to make Christmas special for their kids. But as February approaches and school starts up again,

things can get tough for families living below the poverty line.
Here at Oasis Outreach, focused on supporting households in Uganda, we've been busy reaching out to families in need.

Early in the year, we visited two families with young children starting school. It can be a real challenge for parents, especially single moms, to provide everything their kids need for school. Some even consider postponing education until they feel more financially secure, but we know that delaying education isn't the answer. That's why we're so grateful for our supporters who have now helped us step in and provide school essentials for a few families

Apio and Adong, are twin sisters being raised by their single mom. Their mom left a tough domestic situation, hoping for a better life with her three kids. She sells her homemade food at the local market to get by.
With support from our sponsors, we're now able to help these girls in their first year of school, and we plan to offer ongoing support whilst following their journey.
We've also welcomed Gilbert, a bright young boy full of dreams, into our school support program this year. Gilbert's cousin, little Rauza, at just three years old, is already proving to be quite the chatterbox! Her aunt, who cares for her, believes she's ready for school, and we're here to support her every step of the way. With our donor's assistance, Oasis Outreach, a new NGO, is taking small steps to support children's education and families in need. We are dedicated to creating safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive. We're already making a real difference in the lives of a small number of people. However, to expand our reach and help even more people, we need the support of generous individuals like you. Thank you to all those who choose to be a vital part of our community and for helping build brighter futures for these incredible kids.
Warm regards, Priscilla.

Gilbert, with his big smile!
